Medium Semi-Circle Honed Granite Hearth is from the Honed Granite Hearths Range. The Medium Semi-Circle Honed Black Granite Floor Plate is versatile to suit all stove designs. Slightly larger than the small semi circle, it affords more space for your stove and managing your stove’s ash spills efficiently.

Our granite hearths are 20mm thick however 30mm  is available to order as part of our bespoke service (up to 1150mm x 1000mm) for pallet delivery.

We supply this product unsealed, leaving the choice to you, when you receive it.

The weight of the stone, together with the stove, should hold the hearth place so it is unlikely to require fixing. It should be noted that any sealant/fixing materials may cause the stone to change colour/mark, over time.

When handling the stone, you should hands are clean, to reduce the chance of marking the stone.

When siting your Woodburner, please ensure it is lifted carefully in to place and not dragged across the hearth. This will mark your hearth.

Important Guidlines

If installed on a combustible floor it is essential the hearth is at least 250mm thick (or 125mm thick with a 50mm air gap underneath). If however, the stove does not exceed the glass hearth's temperature to over 100ºC then the hearth thickness can be reduced to 12mm. Many stove manufacturers test their products and should be able to confirm whether the stove will cause the glass hearth to exceed a temperature of 100ºC or not. Most stoves that are installed with a log storage underneath are most likely to exceed the glass to over a temperature of 100ºC.
